Follow these steps to help solve any camera or microphone issues:
- Check that the camera and/or microphone icons are activated within the classroom's video stream area.
- Ensure you have given permission to your browser to allow audio and video (if applicable) when joining the session. This will appear in the top left corner if you are using Google Chrome.
- If you mistakenly block the camera and microphone you will see a cross through your camera in the URL bar at the top of your screen (where the URL is). Click on that. Now you’ll be asked to allow Skooli access to your camera and/or microphone here. Select “Always allow”, click done, and reload your page. Once reloaded, you’ll be able to join the session.
Some students do not have access to a camera in the classroom as it is dependent on your school district’s account setting with Skooli.
